Is this the one hosted by UW-Stevens? Either way, I'd be in.
Here at ISU, we had a very closely-related contest this past weekend called the KaleidoQuiz where, in similar fashion, we had to answer questions that were very difficult in substance and others, very odd and irrelevant in knowledge (one question was that we had to strategically find out what food the radio personnel was about to eat, and no, we couldn't call in and ask.) The second part consisted of doing various tasks including a scavenger hunt, constructing a device to open/shut a door in a half hour, and the ever popular "find the emo" on campus. The contest lasted 26 hours straight with no breaks but as long as you have plenty of people and reserves, it's more tedious than difficult.
And I would suggest we involve ourselves in a real-time chat outside of B.Net. This would eliminate any outside distractions. But that's just my suggestion.

Awesome.
I would really like to see the questions, although I might not be a big help.
Good luck

Sounds neat. I'd like to be more involved in TriviaHost affairs.
(Irish, sorry that my bot's whoami command was set at 0. @ that one time you kicked me)

I'm thrilled to see that this got a pretty positive response. I should probably respond since it's like a week away.
Yes, this is the UW-Stevens contest
I'm now going to be busy for a majority of the weekend, but I will be in the channel relaying questions for part of the time for anyone who is interested. I'm guessing at least a few hours starting on Friday at 6PM, I think central time, but I'm not sure on the time zone. Also, I'll be on for several hours Sunday evening.
I hear there is also an audio feed of the questions over the internet but it may be delayed significantly so I don't know how reliable that is going to be.
I am more than likely not going to be on all day Saturday. If we are doing extremely well into Saturday and the audio feed is working out, I don't mind giving out my phone number to people who are interested. Note: I'm going to be wasted starting at about 12 PM on Saturday, so you might have an awkward conversation to look forward to.
Either way, I'll see you at 6PM in the channel on Friday. I'll probably log on to West since it is generally more populated than East.

Unfortunately you won't have my endless wisdom to aid you, I'll be out of town for a week or so.

Might be easier to set up some kind of instant messaging group chat instead of trying to do this over B.net.

IRC? I have IRC on my DS, and I might be able to get wireless internet off hotels.
