Alright... I was just looking at some threads and I saw PTC's retarded mod thread. Sorry PTC, but my vote would have been no. Anyway, mortal... you have some whack ass views on religion and state of the world. This bullshit about Christians and how we get slaughtered in Muslim countries? The reason they aren't getting slaughtered is NOT the fact that the US (all-powerful to you I inferred) is at all their collective doorsteps, seemingly. How would the population, as... techno? stated reach over one million? A couple years of safety would not warrant that mortal. I'm sorry, you seemed alright but unnoticeable to me as of yet in the boards, but now it's been a thing where you just came and just ruined any credibility you had. Approving of prone due to the fact that you both have all-too-literal spiritual beliefs... Ugh. And don't talk shit to a f**king Canadian. I'm Canadian too and I can damn well tell you that most people I'm friends with are all way less intense and far more enjoyable to sit around and chat with than you. And the karma thing? It's a small counter on our site... it doesn't matter if you actually 'believe' in karma. It's a counter telling you how many people think your posts are worthwhile. It doesn't have anything to do with any kind of metaphysical belief. Jesus. And your defense to the Crusades was pathetic. Just so you know... Catholics (me being one) believe in the one Christ. Catholicism was one of the earlier branches of the CHRISTIAN FAITH. YES! CATHOLICISM IS ACTUALLY PART OF CHRISTIANITY. Too many people don't realise this. And we praise Jesus as part of the Holy Trinity, and the Saints are just people who we can look for for inspiration and guidance in certain areas. (ie: Patron Saints). But Jesus and above all, God, takes the cake for praise. Oh... and regarding that whole Pope representing God thing... you do realise that's more of an Orthodox thing, right? Western Catholicism (Roman Cathoic) included is with the whole church and we are within the ranks and such, but that stuff is less important to us and priests (including bishops, clergy, cardinals, or the POPE) are just links to God. No, we don't just think that that's the only way to communicate with God, but Mass is a collective way to praise God and become part of a spiritual community. You can't say shit to me about faith.. because you apparently know nothing about the workings of the church or even Western Society. Yes, Catholicism has corruption, but your claims are amazingly outrageous. You actually made me cringe and I lost any respect for you. Just letting you know.
Oh, and Chalupa/Lost, I know you hate the reviving locked threads thing, but this was more a rant and less of a continuation and I just had to let mortal feel my wrath because he just angered me alot with his amazingly closed mind so I just had to talk a bit. Sorry, but I really felt the need. Anyway, that's all.
PS: Crusades were Catholic-done, predominantly because Catholicism was the predominate Christian faith at the time, so... yeah. There's no REAL defense.

greeny, most of us on the west coast aren't like that (i think.) and some other parts of the us, but it's mostly the redneckish parts i suppose. (i'm not really a liberal though. more of a moderate conservative.)   |

Nice flamer, greeny. I see we don't meet eye to eye. I'm sure that you are aware of the fact that there nearly 2,000 denominations of christianity. Why is that needed when there only needs to be ONE? Is it because man loves to alter scriptures in the bible to fit his needs? You could explain to me why catholicism exists when it is not needed in the first place, right? It does sound like you believe in christianity, however you are not quite as graceful as a christian might have been in your post. Perhaps you can list the ten commandments out of your bible so I can list mine and see if there isn't a clash in writings. I am willing to bet that yours has something missing if you truly use your catholic bible. That is up to you. As far as the karma thing, I have actually met people who believe in karma as a spiritual existence, kind of like tai chi or that meditation thing people do. You might want to check on that. Prone has used his emotions to allow his previous situation collapse. Why should I care of your opinion on that? He's a kid just like you in this world trying to fit in, unlike me, I've already established a place in my life where I don't need exceptance such as yours. I was merely trying to encourage him and give him something to believe in which you haven't yet. Hawk showed some compassion toward him and I respect him for that but I have not seen you do that so I could care less what respect you have for me. So instead of thinking of smiting me like perhaps 'a western catholic' would, maybe you should show your christian faith with grace and charisma like your susposed to.
By the way, you might want to look at the nation of Israel in your spare time.
p.s. When a Canadian tells me to not to speak on something maybe that Canadian should consider what he is inclining and should remember that you are speaking to an American. When a Canadian is trying to suppress an American from speaking his mind the first thing that American wants to do is kick that Canadian's back-side (ass). You might want to consider that when visiting, that is, if you visit. Just letting you know.

It clearly states; "Freedom of Speech". And that is a view in the generalization of Americans as you should know, Gray. It is also why Americans fight.
