This one is for the administrators I suppose, however it does really concern everyone. Triviahost has been down for a few days now and hasn't been up for more than a day at a time for many weeks it seems. Lee of course isn't always able to keep his bot on all of the time either, and so there are numerous periods where the channel is just dead. This may be presumptuous of me, but no explanation has been forthcoming, and I realize you render this service at no charge and are not answerable to us, however it would be nice to know what is going on. Can we expect Triviahost to return and remain? Has it become too much of a hassle to run? Is there something we (and by we I mean others who aren't technologically brain dead) can help with?

If you look down at the thread titled June scores Goddess took the time to post everyone's scores, but no one responds. I never make the leader board, and this time didn't know the leaders, so I didn't say much. Just be sure to show some appreciation every now and then back on our founding Ma&Pa every now and then. Nice of you to offer some help though : )

Ohhh, yeah. Quite possible to read their non-verbal communication as: "Go outside, it's Summertime!" Hopefully something can be worked out to have a steadier bot present for trivia in the evenings at least.

It would honestly be more accurate to say that it has only been up for a short time. I know this channel was running a long time before I arrived, but for well over a month triviahost has been down frequently or chronically, and before that it was still dropping often. I remember when I first arrived I had no idea that the bot dropped-ever, because it really didn't happen very frequently, or if it did then it was back up before I came back. Currently it is running, but I have to ask whether that is going to actually last.

I think soul, if people answer questions too quickly the bot ends up flooding off because of b.net's flood control. The long delays between logging the bot back in are probably because Godess and Chalupa are not as active as they once were. Honestly I don't think they should be expected to log in every day because someone has flooded off the bot, yes it is an inconvenience but I don't know what else can be done (maybe longer wait times between the bot answering?). I'm not even sure if this is the case, just a hypothesis.

It makes me sad that the bot has been down so long. I hope it doesn't get to where it doesn't come on again.

I think you guys are overreacting. Just calm down, it'll be back before you know it. But then again, when was the last time anyone has seen G0DESS or Chalupa post anything on the boards...
