Would ye contend with my thought that this forum could stand to gain a lot more revenue for G and Chalupa if they ramped up their profile in time for the release of StarCraft2 and Diablo3. Even possible business opportunities. I believe it was mentioned before about making this an "actual website", I think what they meant was having somewhat of a mainpage- that visitors could visit/browse. Maybe the mainpage could have more of these new&old game info/links, interactive content/flash games, public polls, some trivia flavor and maybe even a clan. Did you all ever have a clan from the original crew? The new games will likely have functions to allow you to join your friends games easily and a quick-join random type of game finding, but it's hard to beat the triv channel for cooling your heels and finding more fun ways to strat your games with your prospective partners. I'm practically guessing on ways SC fans like the #1 trivia on b.net, and how it could further flourish. What do you all think? Ensuring the survival of this cool community, might also bring in a lot more people. Would you folks even like the possible flood that may come with the new games?

Not saying that... I've heard there were issues for keeping the place up and running. Advertising dollars slipping off, which ultimately keep it going. Just offering up a platform to discuss possibilities for the transition to the new games-- either diminishing into obsoletism, or a new self aware future. Will the new games even allow op channels? A wide swathe of issues arise when talking about what could happen. To seize the day's opportunities or just wait and see? I guess I may be missing a LedZep "discuss." request. snickers > milky way anyday though both are far better than three musketeers Discuss. I really do miss your polls though Led Tried to egg you on to make one about Wendy's slogans and Lost Peon's Drunken Pipi Longstocking picture.

I guess I only responded to this in my head (thought I had though, maybe I'm simply inventing). Well as I said to myself, Triviahost is fun and there are a good many people who stop by, however I don't think you could really popularize it. After all there are barely five people posting as of now; the community isn't really that interesting to outsiders. Also I don't think there will be too many drastic changes in Bnet unless they plan on releasing Diablo III and Starcraft II at the same time which would be incredibly vexing.

While a noble venture, I don't think anyone really has the time, expertise, nor motivation to be able to pull this off well.
Hell, anything's possible, though... I guess.

I have tossed around the idea of developing an op triviahost t-shirt line to raise money for the board, probably wouldn't be a very good business venture. Although we might have a market in all of the "indie-kids" and hipsters who wear wear clothing supposedly "ironically." Must look into this.

Maybe if you pair the "i R smart" t-shirts with too-tight girl pants; they would sell out to hipster dudes in a hurry. Oh, and some oversized, reflective gold rimmed aviator glasses added into a package deal.

Most people who wear aviators can't pull them off, so you'll feel right at home! At least that I know anyways.

yes, there are very few people who don't look like clowns in aviator glasses, mainly because they are rediculous in themselves.
