I would like to say a few words about someone who was very close to me.
Her name was Sofia we knew each other for a long time, in fact went to playschool with each other. (that equates to about 25 years!.)
I had a phone call earlier today from her mum she told me soda (its what i called her affectionately) had killed her self, she was one of my best friends and the same age as me, going through very similar things as I am. The phone call with her mum was very hard..
Soda and I were very close, she was beautiful and very funny she was also very clever. She was about 5'9" brunette, brown eyes. She had huge feet for a girl i always made fun of her for that hehe. She was taking a year out of her second masters degree this one was in sociology at warwich university.
She would do this thing with her hair, just brush it to the side and smile any man would fall in love instantly but she never seemed to find the right one. I always told her because they weren't good enough for her. It was true.
I often tried to recruit her into trivia and into the forum but she wasn't geek enough for that lol. Altho she was a far bigger geek than i could ever hope to be. She loved languages she could speak german, french, spanish, some italian and some russian. Sofia was the reason i started to learn russian. She also spent a lot of time with me and my spelling/punctuation/grammar and general lameness at english. Not that it ever did any good.
We often watched films together and both loved films such as caddyshack and highlander. LOL she is the only girl i know to love highlander as much as i do.
We played golf and tennis together she was so much fun.
I just felt people should know a little about her she would have loved the channel and here i'm sure i was close to getting her in.
Although we where only friends I loved her we spoke often and i always felt we would be friends forever. WE WILL BE. I LOVE YOU SODA.
