So I've installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled Diablo 2 Expansion a few times in the past, and I'm trying to reinstall it again. However, I don't have the CD-Key for the expansion game, and I need to find one. I don't wanna play online, just LAN with my friends, and I'm wondering if there's a way my friend can find his CD-Key in RegEdit or something like that, or stored somewhere on his hard drive. Or if you wanna PM a spare CD-key that you have that would be swell. -PhoenixFlare-

Just get a cd key generator if you dont need Battle net.
RegEdit doesn't store your cd keys, or generate them for you.

www.isohunt.com/torrents?ihq=diablo+2+keygenthe first one and the fourth one and possibly the sixth one will work. you need a bittorrent downloader to be able to download those torrent files. i recomment utorrent. but its hard to find a keygen that makes cd keys that lets you play online too.....but it doesnt hurt to try plus as whot said, regedit to my knowledge wont be any help recovering a cd key

It is my understanding that the cd-key is located in the *.mpq files. You'd need to get a mpq editor to find it, but it's encrypted as well. That works for starcraft, but i don't know if diablo uses it too.
