I am. I'm sure at least one of you has heard about the LHC tests that they are running. I don't know how long they were planning it but it sounds awesome. Opinions?

Black holes? You don't honestly think that smashing protons together at near light-speed can produce black holes, do you? For cryin' out loud...

The way I see it is...if it causes a black hole (highly improbable), we'll all wake up dead one morning and it won't matter either way. If it doesn't, the world media has a lot of explaining to do or should, riling up everyone about this bullshit. And I'm unfamiliar with what it does, but if it succeeds then we're on our way into another scientific discovery. Yay!

I'm running off the European media corporations that seem to believe this is true. I just thought it would be a nice eye-opening title. But I think it will definitely be interesting to find out the results of the test.

yeah, the concept of 10 or 11 'Dimensions' is kind of strange, and is also one of those classic physics concepts which lacks proper terminology (like einstein's space-time continuum, when its really change over time)

Other than that, you're correct.

Yes, nuclear weapons can destroy the world, however i was referring to the fact that people thought that one nuclear bomb would continue in a chain reaction and that that single bomb would destroy the planet, not 500 megatons of nuclear annihilation.
Needless to say, nukes are still scary shit *eyes north korea suspiciously*
