WAS SO f**kING UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME.
Saw the midnight screening for it... Walked into the theater as giddy and excited as a schoolboy. Walked out of the theater in awe. It broke every expectation I had for it. Some things didn't follow the comics perfectly, but man, screw that, this movie was awesome. The pace was unrelenting, it never slowed up for a minute. It actually makes me worry for the third, just wondering how they are going to top this.
Is it the best movie ever made? Too many contenders for that. Is it the best SUPERHERO movie ever made? Yes, yes it is.
This little blurb does it no justice. I was gonna write a full-blown review but then.. I'm not really good with words.

I should say that even though I state that this is the best superhero movie ever made, it is so good, it exceeds its status as being a mere "comic-book flick".

Just to make Ror angry I'm going to say that I got to see it on Wednesday because of Pre-Screening Tickets. It was an amazing movie (Heath Ledger has done the best joker I have ever seen[Not saying this because he is dead simply because he was f**king amazing]) and Nolan did a great job with the saga. The only thing I had a problem was the creation of a villain and then he dies ten minutes later..I think I'll wait for Ror's review so I can top him again. "You've just been Story-topped"

EDIT: Yah.. I just realized that there might be spoilers in my post and the post above... ------ I just saw it for the second time. So good. musashi23: Hancock pretty much... sucked... Started out good, though. @obvious: 1) I don't give a shit when you saw it. I saw it, that's all that matters to me. 2) Heath Ledger was good (great even), but I think people underrate pretty much everyone else in the movie. Bale, Eckhart and Ledger all stood out for me. Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman also had good presence in the scenes they were in. I think all the performances were admirable. 3) Dying in ten minutes? C'mon. First off, you don't even know if he is dead or not. There is a possibility he is alive (and my hunch is that he will be back). Secondly, the whole movie was not about the villain, it was about Dent. It was about his descent, his "turn". Look at the parallels between the three main characters. The role of the "absolute" baddie, the one who is fully fledged, went to the Joker, whom, as you saw, was given no origin story. People should realize the film is more about Harvey Dent. 4) Review? You've caught me with my pants down. I suppose I'll get started on something. 5) This film is still amazing.

I just saw it this past Monday and it seemed like it was a really long movie...Like you said, it didnt slow down for one minute and it was way fast and I have no idea what happened so when I got home, I had to read about it on Wiki. But damn it was a pretty great movie.

Ror: At #1) I just wanted to see if it would frustrate you. #2) Of course everyone was great. I'm simply saying that for Ledger's final performance he was unbelievable, in a good way. Caine always throws in his witty remarks, Freeman is up to his above par standards. Bale was simply incredible (Best Batman Ever?[Disregarding technological advancements]) It was simply out an all-star cast. =D #3) He did die because at the end they hold a memorial service for him. The one thing that confused me is how Batman falls off his penthouse (What 50 floors high?) and he's fine but then he falls 20-30 feet at the end and he can barely walk? Wtf.. #4) You better. I'm just fine tuning mine now =D #5) I never said the film was bad. In fact it was quite spectacular. Fan-f**kin-tastic if I do say so myself, which I do.

Ror any good fights in the next time? last Klitschko fight was too easy At the moment i tend to watch lighter weight fights also. Don't you hijack my thread, boy. That said, I haven't really been keeping up with the sport lately. Klitschko is a joke, he should fight some real opponents, amirite? Doesn't matter, the whole HW division is a joke. The only fight worth watching in a while happened a few days ago: Miguel Cotto versus Antonio Margarito. That one was a good one, I hear (I've yet to watch it, am downloading it right now). Ror: At #1) I just wanted to see if it would frustrate you. #2) Of course everyone was great. I'm simply saying that for Ledger's final performance he was unbelievable, in a good way. How the hell do you forget Aaron Eckhart in that list? He completely trumped Tommy Lee Jones... But I suppose everyone wants to forget the fiasco that is Batman Forever. As for his character being dead or alive. Did you even think about it or did you make up your mind just because you saw him lying motionless on the ground and then they held a memorial service? I'm not saying 100% he is alive, there is a possibility. "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain." Think about that for quote for a second. Think about all the underlying themes of the movie. Harvey Dent is dead. Two-Face lives. That's a possibility, and that's what I think happens. Oh, and way to dodge my other points. As for the review, I haven't actually started anything. Been doing other stuff. The film is still awesome. And that is just a reiteration, it has nothing to do with you.

#3) He did die because at the end they hold a memorial service for him. The one thing that confused me is how Batman falls off his penthouse (What 50 floors high?) and he's fine but then he falls 20-30 feet at the end and he can barely walk? Wtf.. It's clear that neither Batman nor Gordon really wants to hurt Two-Face, and that his fall in the warehouse comes as sort of an accident. I think they stage his public death in order to safely lock Two-Face away in Arkham Asylum without the public's knowledge...which should leave the door open for his role in a sequel. Also, I kind of assumed Batman survived his penthouse fall due to some sort of armor in his new suit, but recall that he got shot in the gut before falling the 30 feet in the abandoned building. It probably wasn't the fall that did the damage. On a side note, how does his batsuit *not* have kevlar? Or if it did, why was he hurt so badly when Dent shot him right in the chest?
