labs.jphantom.com/wpm/Since people go to the trivia channel because of ego, here's a helpful website that will measure your typing speed in words per minute, characters per minute, and penis length (Sadly, they haven't added girth yet, but soon). I've tried several times (First couple times I closed the scores because I had to hit enter or space after it was over because I'm stupid). When I was really typing shitty and making a lot of errors it was a tiny bit under 100 wpm. When I was just making my usual amount of errors (3-5) I got up to around 120 wpm. So let's everyone compare scores, dammit. I especially want to see Doom's. Who cares if you aren't fast, post anyway.

Ugh..
1st: 108.11 wpm, 5 mistakes
2nd: 107.94 wpm, 4 mistakes
3rd: 121.42 wpm, 3 mistakes
As soon as I clicked the box, it took like 2 or 3 seconds for the text to load up, so I dont know if the timer starts when the text shows or when I click the box, so that might affect wpm. i suck.

Well, my first and highest attempt was the 136.95 wpm with 1 mistake that I mentioned to gnome...after that, my desire to improve upon it just screwed me and I averaged 128-130 with 2 or 3 mistakes apiece.

1- 120.89 - 2 mistakes 2- 131.83 - 1 mistake 3- 128.34 - 1 mistake Tried a few more times, mostly around 130, but the best one ended up being 140.26 with 0 mistakes. This is a decent test, but after a while you memorize the passage that it takes selections from. **Edit: After being prompted by doom's non-believing of my scores, I managed to score 138.28 with 1 mistake and 145.71 with 0. Doom beat me again, though  **Edit again: 152.11 is my new high. Doom's was 152.38. Go figure. |

2- 89.28 - 5 mistakes.
3- 81.02 - 8 mistakes.

I never kept track of my best, but i got 103, 101, and 108 wpm as my best. i got the 101 with 2 mistakes, so im pretty proud of myself

Grr tough words! Such as consecration and dedication! I liked the other "familiar words" site that I posted earlier.
My average was about 100wpm, highest was 128wpm, with a few errors for them all.

Now I'm just curious. Which of you use home row and always use the same finger to hit keys and which of you (like me) have no order or sense behind how they type and just do whatever feels best?

I type whatever way feels best to me. I use mostly my index fingers to type.
