Don't know how many people have heard, but Narcissistic/Sexybreast (as she goes on East) is having/did have surgery today on some leg problem of hers or some such (the particulars escape me) and she was really worried about it. I hope she's doing better and I'm sure most of you (except Lost, who hates everyone) are with me in hoping she does alright and gets back to the Triviahost'ing asap!!! She said if she winds up immobile for a few days that's about all she'll be able to do, so here's hoping those quacky doctors don't kill her.
I get her stereo though...she already said so...nobody else can call that one!

Wow, it's like a Chal posting bonanza!
I don't know how long her recovery was supposed to last for this thing...kind of hoping that she'll be back on within the next 24 hours. She said she'd be under general anesthetic, and from what I understand it can be somewhat annoying to recover from that, so I'll assume she wouldn't want to do anything other than relax for the day or so after the procedure. Here's hoping we see her back in the next day or so!

I'm quite interested on what the specific condition was that she had or what they're doing to her leg. I'm sure it'll be quite the story when she gets back.

So how long before you're back to walking without pain? If you ever get to missing that pain after it's gone, I can fly out there and kick you in the shin repeatedly, just for old time's sake. Seriously though...when are you no longer going to be a cripple?!

They're letting me go home on Monday, but even then I still have to go through physical therapy before I'm back to normal... anywhere from 2-6 months of it.
And by normal I mean awesome.

So is hospital food really as bad as I've been led to believe by years and years of bad sitcoms? Also, if I were to set wild dogs on you, are you saying you wouldn't be able to outpace them (read: survive) for 2-6 months...?  |
