Here's an old riddle(to me at least)
It was from Oedipus Rex, an old greek play.
Oedipus was asked this question by the Sphinx of Thebes. Everyone else got it wrong and was eaten, he got it right and the Sphinx killed herself(definitely a poor loser).
What goes on four legs at dawn, two at noon, and three at dusk.
Side note: When Oedipus got it right it allowed him to marry the queen, who just happened to be Oedipus' mother(he didnt know it at the time). When he finds out he blinds himself and runs off into the desert(oh he killed his dad too, but that was before the riddle and marriage and he didnt know that it was his dad at the time)
Aren't Greek plays great.

Never seen it here in the forum riddle section, havent been on the bnet channel lately so wouldnt have noticed it there.
Greek stuff is just some background as to where this "riddle" originated.
