I've never been much into soccer, but I find watching ANY of the FIFA games extremely addictive.
But I specifically wanted to hear what you guys think of the United States sub-par standing on this World Cup. I know there has been some lengthy chats and debates in the channel.

I haven't watched much of the world cup, i've only tuned in a couple times to watch the fancy footwork and stuff and it kepd me entertained, but I just didn't feel like getting into soccer and participateing in debates about it this year. Not only that, I don't have ESPN or anything so i'm not very up to date with games...
All I know is I watched part of the world cup, and MAN, how stupid can that Zidane guy be? Head butting some dude in the chest only a little bit before they got to the penalty kicks was the stupidest thing i've ever seen, and right before he retired.

I don't think the US cares enough about soccer for us to have a good team. Italy, france, brazil...in those places, soccer is really popular. Here, we're all about baseball, basketball, hockey and football. There's really no room for soccer.

In europe and south america, soccer is the only sport. actually. the only sport that matters. here in north america there are too many sports and it's not that soccer has no room, it's just that soccer is forced to share audience/potential with many other sports.
