Hey all, I'm hoping somebody with more knowledge of computers than I have (I'm practically computer illiterate about a great many things) can help me here. Bot's been down all day, was just trying to check if it had come back (about 5:30 eastern time), tried logging on to West and got the following message:
[5:41:05 PM] [BNLS] Connected! [5:41:05 PM] [BNLS] Authorized! [5:41:05 PM] [BNET] Connecting... [5:41:05 PM] [BNET] Connected! [5:41:06 PM] [BNET] Checking version... [5:41:06 PM] [BNET] Version check failed! [5:41:06 PM] [BNET] BNLS has not been updated yet, or you experienced an error. Try connecting again.
I have no idea what that means, and I haven't gotten that message before, and I can't get around it. I can log on to east, and Europe just fine by switching channels under bot-settings, but West keeps producing that message. I'm running Stealthbot v2.6 revision 3, so if anyone knows why this is happening, how to fix it, or if it'll stop on its own, I'd be very appreciative!

I had this problem constantly over the summer. I downloaded the latest vers of Stealth and that still didnt help. I gradually creep away from using the bot until recently, which I found that it worked fine. I never did find a solution for it, but I know that Lost/Chalupa, among others, know how to hash locally. Hopefully they can help you with it.
EDIT: Upon entering bnet through SC, I noticed that another new patch was released, which is probably the cause behind the Stealthbots inability to log in. It should be fixed in a few days.

If a new patch is out, stealth or stealth tech team would be working to make a patch compatible with the new patch. As compbasher said, it should be fixed in a few days. If it still doesn't work... The stealthbot is at version 2.6 Revision 3 Critical Update #5! Make sure you have this first. Link to Update: www.stealthbot.net/forum/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=213235If this does not work, use the alternate setup: 1. Open your configuration file (config.ini) from your StealthBot folder. 2. Under [Main] ONLY add this line: SetBNLSServer=hdx.no-ip.org 3. Save and close your configuration file.

Thanks Whot, friend of mine took care of it for me, did exactly what you said...I think I didn't have the critical update #5, which was what was throwing it off, it's working fine with BNLS now, not that it matters since the bot is down. But problem solved, nonetheless!
