Ok, so you know how when there's new posts there's a big NEW in a star on the forum title or whatever? And then when you go into that forum, there's a big NEW in the thread title and stuff? Or in the subforum title? Well, when you click on the forum title that says NEW and then read a new post, the NEW disappears. So even if there's stuff that you hadn't read in that forum, it doesn't say so. So you could miss a couple new posts or whatever. All I'm saying is, on other forums the NEW stays in the forum name until all posts there have been read. Is there any way to make this forum like this?

OK, here I'll try to explain more clearly. Let's say I haven't been on in a while and there are 50 new posts scattered everywhere in the Triviahost forums. 25 posts are in the Jokes and Stories forum, 20 posts are in the Debate forum, and 5 are in the Polls forum. In the debate forum, there are 10 new posts in General debate and 10 new posts in Politics. There will be a bit NEW in a star or whatever beside the names of all the forums that I just mentioned, as well as all the new posts. Now let's say I decide to look at a couple debates: Superman vs. Batman Debate and Spiderman vs. Batman Debate. Both of these debates are new debates in the General Debate forum. I don't look at the other eight, which contain things like Broccoli vs. Cauliflower and Country Music Sucks vs. Country Music Blows. I now go all the way back up to the home page of Triviahost. There is now no indication that there are unread posts in the Debate forum, and I could forget about it and not learn about whether people prefer a top-loading laundry machine vs. a side-loading one. What I am saying is that in other forums I have been on, there would still be an indication that there are unread posts in the Debate forum, and I am asking if there is any way to do that in this forum.

Re-enter the forum and check the dates for the most recent posts. It's easy to find unread posts that way. You just have to remember what the last day you visited the site was.

Oh I get it. Yeah, I have had that same problem before but haven't found a way to fix it (although I can't say i've tried too hard). I'll see if someone has already made a script for that and if so, that would be the easist way to solve this.
