Hey Chalupa, would it be possible to implement the !rank command, but instead of inputting a name, you input the rank, and find the player at that rank? I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to implement, given the existing system.
This would help us keep track of higher ranked players and find out how much it would take us to reach them.

It's a great idea, but believe it or not it would be very hard. There is not much that can be done to change the Triviabot. Onlinegaming is a bot that can be modified but not the Trivia Bot,

Well that sucks! hehe I agree with B.ec, it'd be nice to be able to find out who's occupying the top positions, or the position directly above yourself. As you say it's not easy to change, and I'm not sure what is possible, but it would seem that the !top command could be changeable to include more than just the first? The only problem with that though is if it was possible, if it showed the top 10 users it'd be a flooding problem.

Yes it would cause the bot to flood, if you made it list the top ten. Plus, it's near impossible.
I only have the source for a very old version of the bot so my choice would be to totally remake the bot, or we are stuck with this one. Over all, it works pretty well and the other two bots are programmable and are able to Moderate the channel.

would it be possible maybe to have the online gaming bot keep track of ranks? if it could keep track of the ranks and just the ranks, then it could spit out the user at a certain rank, then you could !score the person?
i have some programming knoledge myself, so maybe we could put our heads together and come up with something?

Have you checked OnlineGamings profile? lol, I did program OnlineGaming to record the top 5 ranks in the profile. It's kinda buggy but it works most of the time. Just haven't had time to fix it.

yea... you did a good job with it. i guess i should have been more specific. i guess i meant to say can we have the online gaming bot keep up with oh... say the top 20 ranks, then be able to run a command on it like !rank 14, and have it spit out "so and so is ranked 14" then do the !score command on the triviabot to see where that person is?

Awwwww. Yes, I originally made it keep track of the top 10 ranks but they wouldn't fit in the profile.
I could probably make it available to a .rank command but it would only return a result if it "saw" then person with that rank score an answer since it was last booted. That's why the top five aren't always full.
