Sup everyone, as it says, it's an eye-opener, although everyone from our trivia channel are probably the cream of the crop, having things refreshed is good. This site basically looks at how just a little money could help the third world countries out so much, plus it looks at how much money our society wastefully spends. And it's a Canadian artist/site, you can't go wrong. This site is crazy, but only because so many people are not thinking about the world's problems. Watch the music video when it comes up, that's where the facts are. www.worldonfire.caAlthough i'm sure everyone will agree that it's a pretty cool job by Sarah Mclachlan, share your comments.

Nice song and message. I like how she interjected the fact that she is not collecting money because most people would have left.
I particularly liked how she ended it - she led by example. The only criticism would have to be that it was just a bit lengthy for the type of medium it is but I just enjoyed the music and went with it.
On the deeper issues, I would just add that I always thought the hollywood styled grotesquely expensive methods of raising money for poverty ironic and finally this lady shows us all a better way.

Well THANK YOU Trash_bag, noone else on this site took the time to view it, or reply anyways! Since I thought it was a pretty good site, I was expecting some replies! Whether they be good or bad. True enough that it does go a little long, but keep in mind that it wasn't just a ad or something, it is actually a music video. So thanks again Trash_bag, I'm still expecting replies people!

It was interesting, but that's how things are, not everyone is equal, not everyone is born in a 1st world country. We can do some to help, but the truth is, people can be just as happy, or probably happier in those places than we can be with all our material possesions and other "crap" we haul around. We think it is so depressing and heartbreaking, but those people are used to that lifestyle and although it might not be ideal, it works, and they get by however they can. I wouldn't want to live like that, but that's just me. Just my 2 cents...

I 100% agree lostpeon, material things are totally unnecessary, they will never bring happieness, they can't, well i won't into it because it's another story, but only God can bring that. However helping the governments provide public services seems necessary, such as the money in the movie that went to paying for an ambulance. Schools of course, but even something like fresh water, it's freaky the percentage of people in Africa that don't have access to clean water. Back to the idea of them enjoyin their lives, like i said that probably is true, but that one woman who works 2 jobs, 16 hours a day, then comes home and sells oranges for 2 cents, I bet she'd wish she could spend more time with her family! That's pretty crazy, like you said Lost, i'm happy i don't have to live like that either. NavY_Ceals
