I think this goes here.. but anyway. Is it morally correct or completely assanine that people can sue others for "Wasting their time" or to have a robber sue you when he/she was in your house stealing things and got hurt by stepping on a knife or something? Or my personal favorite.. A man suing the Catholic Church for "Making him believe in Jesus Christ"... ('.') Personally, I believe this is assanine (Yes I like that word) and that the rules/laws/whatever of suing should be made more strict to remove these types of cases from our courts and allow the judges more time to review other cases (Murder, Rape or Gay Marriage) and other more important issues. And seriously..

And I gotta say, your juxtaposition of rape and murder with gay marriage is hilarious. Wow, I totally missed that part. Guess we now know Obvious' political/religious organization now. Just like the people he wants jailed(or at least tried), he too has been "outed."

The public has obviously abused the suit system so much as to have senators pass all kinds of laws to prevent idiocies. Unfortunately, those who are actually seeking true justice have to confer with all these additional laws passed to prove their case. I'm sure lawyers as well as the plaintiffs are rich beyond a doubt for cases such as Obvoius posted. As always, it's about the easiest way to make a buck whether it's wrong or right.

Oh my bad. "Asinine" Thank you Mortal. I was thinking that I was the only one who thought it was bulls**t that the rich get richer while suing other (Sometimes poor, Sometimes not) people for idiotic reasons. Or that people can manipulate the system to their advantage. So apparently I got one more person to add to my

Actually it's usually poor idiots that do the suing of the big rich corporations, not the other way round.
Only exception that I know of is the RIAA(music companies) that sue people for downloading songs and sue them for thousands of dollars for songs that are worth a buck a piece.

Want to hear way to sue someone?
If you're in canada, just walk into a guy's house, ram the door down, and steal everything without caring about whether the owner. If they injure you get injured in any way while you are on their property, you can sue them.
I think Navy can elaborate on this.
I think I saw in the news that someone tried to sue this guy who was handing out ads for being overpriced.

actually us Canadians are far LESS litigious than the USA. No big lawsuits like the ones you hear about all the time in the land of the legal loophole known as the USA. If someone robs us and injures themselves, they go to jail but they will receive free medical treatment. And no one sues anyone.
If you have an actual case that proves otherwise then present it.
