Holy crap, another Iowan!
Perhaps we shall come across each other in Des Moines since, as Lost protrays it, we have to go there to use our only restrooms in the state...
Nonetheless, welcome!

Lots of people here from iowa? oO
I have to go to minnesota everytime i want to use the internet, or buy food.
No, but seriously Iowa aint THAT bad. We are one of the few states that have gravel roads around almost every single square mile of the entire state. Thats a lot of dust. Prime real-estate for dust collectors, and other dust efficianados.
I live here in Le Mars. about 15 miles north of Sioux City. WAAAY left central iowa. ICE CREAM CAPITOL OF THE WORLD.. no shit there either. And no.. only a small majority of us are morbidly obese

Right now, I go to school in Ames though.

ISU? I met a few people from there when i was at Central college. Central is in pella.. about 1.5 hours south east of ames.
Im sure you hear all about how "dutch" that town is.. but you have never been to Orange City IA. I grew up there.. They have this thing called the "Tulip Festival" Everyone gets in traditional dutch gear, and dances in the streets for 3 days. Pella is the biggest dutch community... but its grown away from its dutchness.. thankfully. Orange city has done nothing of the sort. All businesses in the town are required to have a dutch styled facade, and almost everything closes on sundays.
Try and tell that to wal-mart. XD

When i was in high school, our football team played Orange City in the playoffs. And after the game, our coach was upset because he couldn't find a single place to drink at. I wonder if that has to do with the tradition of the Dutch.
But yea, I did mean ISU when I said school.
