Dear OP Triviahost,
It seems that we are nearing the end.
We haven't seen a lot of action in terms of keeping the bots up for a while now. Our guess is that that's due to other concerns on G's and Chal's parts, and we understand and accept that. Without the bots, however, we see no real reason to continue coming to the channel and are simply going to pursue other interests with that time.
(From Doom) Speaking purely for myself, I have been here since November of 2005 and I dearly enjoyed playing against everyone who came in: Owen, Phoenix, Ajna, Booty, Comp, Lost, Whot, etc. Lost is never on anymore...I haven't seen Comp in over a year. The channels never have more than a handful of people in them, most of whom are never actually playing. So I feel at this point that it is time to move on and do other things, either on b.net or in the real world.
(From zon) I've been here for at least three years now, and it's been a great time. This community has been my e-home, and many of you truly feel like family. Some have called me the iron lady, and if i've ever banned, kicked, or threatened you.. no hard feelings =)
I will no longer be lurking in the shadows of the channel, but I'll still be hanging around USEast on occasion. Good luck in the future, dear trivia players.
We're going to miss a lot of the people we've met here over the years...you know who you are...and if you message us while we're on battle.net, we'll respond. We hope to see your around, wherever that may be.
This is our official letter of resignation. If you read this, G, please feel free to delete our access from the bots and any kind of moderator privileges we have on the forums.
