Who saw it, who doesn't want to see it, and why?

Don't want to.
Here's why: Picture a whole bunch of movie execs around a table:
Exec#1: Hey.. you guys, we need a new, fresh movie idea. Exec#2: Hmmm... how about a movie about planes? Exec#3: Everyone's doing planes now! Exec#4: What about a movie where we combine SNAKES and planes? Exec#1: Hmmm but how would we combine those two? Exec#2: Hm.... How about... Snakes on a Plane! AllExecs: Ooooooh. Exec#1: Bold! Exec#3: And let's put Samuel L. Jackson in a starring role because he makes every movie good!
What the f**k! SNAKES?! Jesus. No dice.

Yeah, it seems stupid to me. I'm sure it has action and is probably not a bad a movie, but the idea stinks to me. I doubt I will see it at the movies. Maybe on Dvd.

SNAKES ON A PLANE WAS AN OSCAR WORTHY MOVIE WHICH PORTRAYED THE CLASS STRUGGLE IN A MOST DUBIOUS LIGHT IN WHICH THOSE ON COACH AND IN FIRST CLASS EXHIBITED ALL THE CHARACTERISTICS PERTAINING TO WHICH RBOB HAS SPOKEN OF. ALSO SAMUEL L JACKSON IS AN AMERICAN HERO AND SHOULD BE GIVEN A NOBEL PRIZE FOR HIS PERFORMANCE IN THIS MOVIE WHICH DID IN FACT HAVE SNAKES ON A PLANE IN IT. ANYONE WHO SAYS ANYTHING BAD ABOUT THIS MOVIE SHUOLD BE BEHEADED.

Proof to all rbob haters that rbob is infact, not a racist. Thats a reason enough to see this movie.

Only problem with this is Sam Jackson arrived on the project after its inception and wasn't immediately thought of as a selling point for the film. I'll probably see it at some point in a theater (I hear the audiences are really enthusiastic, which is always a plus) but I do think it had become quite irritating as an internet phenomenon.

Actually greeny it's more like this.
A bunch of Dreamworks execs sitting around a table...
Exec#1: Hm...I wonder what the worst name for a movie would be? Execs 2 and 3 ponder.... Exec#3: SNAKES ON A PLANE! All 3: Yes!!!!
Also, Samuel L Jackson wasn't asked to be in the movie. He in fact joined the movie before seeing the script simply because the name was Snakes on a Plane.
I went to see it, and no it's not a very good movie, but it was worth it because everyone in the theater was just so thrilled to see Samuel L Jackson killing some motherf**king snakes on a motherf**king plane that they were cheering and throwing rubber snakes around...it was more fun to be in the theater than to watch the movie.
So personally, I thought it was worth the money and I'd go see it again just for the hell of it.

I'm completely serious about that. Actually it's better than the previews make it look.
