WEll, Just wondering, do the icons themselves now seem appealing, or would you guys like them changed? If its worth it, i might as well go and get adobe photoshop and get started making new icons Here'e what I have so far, if you like it, I'll continue making the icons: - admin icon - home icon - search icon Any feedback would be nice. Oh, and I just started using fireworks today, so a little help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Those are really hard to read. Maybe if you changed the text color.

Well I had the words embossed, but I'm going to try it with a different color, see if I can get the words to appear better.

First of all, the icons need to be CLEAR and PRECISE.
Second, take a look at your background color.
Third, take another look at your background, look for spray pixels with different colors. This should be really easy to spot. It's like the parody of find waldo when waldo is the only person there on the page.
Fourth, some of your images don't even work. But you can keep it that way.

I'll need to make a note of the color code for the title bar up there where the icons are. I need the exact code!
And of either window background 1, or window background 2 for the on/off icons.
edit: never mind, I can find the codes on my own.

Chal, or G, you can host this on whatever image hosting site you use.

First, the two "OP" ones are just... not appealing.
Secondly, the rest aren't clear enough and need to be more pronounced.

Plus, is it me, or are you making them quite a bit larger than they are now? Might look funny at that size.
Edit: I added the Home one and I guess the size isn't really that bad. Just needs to be cleaned up a bit like Whot suggested.

This is the color of the forum: #0000e6 Looking like this: Your button's colors are a bit off. You're using #000098, so just change it to #0000e6 and it should match the background perfectly. Other colors: Also, the sizes are 45x20

Okey Dokie. I'll redo them as 45x20, and make better on/off buttons.
edit: actually, I was using #00000099, which matched the top color perfectly.
