Well, to begin: Say your trying to access your favorite website (I.E. myspace, hi5, facebook), and the campus has a policy which blocks that site, there is a way to be able to view that site, even if it's blocked.
This is called anonymous browsing. What it does is it requests a website from the anonymous proxy instead of the local computer, which goes past the filtering program on the webproxy. There are a number of sources that you can go to to use this feature.
www.kaxy.com - One site that allows you to get past blocked sites.
www.proxify.com - really nice proxy site. Requires an account to go into deeper subnets though. Allows for customizations while browsing.
www.youhide.com - The best site I've used. Doesn't require an account to browse into deeper subnets. I suggest this one. Allows customization while browsing.
