Hopefully, the new units will bring more strategy back to the game. Most of the improvements seem to be on the Toss side though. I'll be playing SC2 with you Div! How much more computer intensive do you people think this version will be? Will I need a newer computer to play it?

I'm far too old these days to pick up a new game like this...why can't blizzard take that into account!? I'm an old man now...I get senile and forget where I placed my mouse...new units and special abilities? This is madness! Seriously though...honestly don't know if I can pick up another game...as I've gotten older I've discovered it becomes harder and harder for me to pick up new games. It's similar to speaking a language...you lose the capacity to do it as easily when you age. I'm sure the rest of you don't share that feeling (except for Sif, who is so ancient he makes me look like a spring chicken), but come on...special units that can teleport to give chase? Zealots with short speed bursts? How in the hell am I supposed to keep track of all that!

I hate waiting for things. I am the least impatient person there is. They should have had it ready when they announced it. Now, all the hype will be lost by the time itis released. I'll probably still buy it though. I like sc.

They're not really new ideas though Doom. Marines already have little speed bursts which we know as Stim Packs. And Arbiters could teleport other units to them, so why not just have new units teleport themselves? From what I understand it's pretty much just gonna be another expansion like Brood War was to the original. They're just calling it a new game. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Having the units transport themselves rather than teching up and getting units to do so further dumbs down the strategic gameplay and I agree with Sif when stating that there needs to be more of such gameplay.

It's about time, too. I was telling Whot and Navy last nite, I've used my original sc cd so much over the past few years that it finally wore out and I had to buy a new one.
