So I'm using a widescreen laptop with a resolution of 1280x800. Now, whenever I play games that are set to normal resolutions, they don't get stretched anymore. I actually like them stretched 'cause I got used to it, so I'm wondering how do I change it back? I think they stopped getting stretched after I installed the game Freelancer, but I tried uninstalling it and they didn't revert back. So I'm thinking some other file was changed somewhere in Windows or something.

I was looking around here and certain graphics cards have profiles for certain resolutions. Your game probably updated that profile so all games play in 800x600 resolution. Is there a control panel for your graphics card? |

Yeah, it's an NVIDIA if that helps too.
