Post some stuff about him in the Vince Young Thread and I was gonna make a new thread about Skip but I couldn't find anything to write about until now. I have to tip my hat and give him a little round of applause...... I actually agree with him on something... Tonight on the Hot Seat on ESPN, they were talking about who should be the heisman winner and he said Colt Brennan. He even put up a good argument and said that he was supposed to win it last year.

He's bound to get one right now and then, but not sure he is here. Colt may deserve it, but with the east coast bias of the sportswriters Tebow and McFadden will both probably get more votes. The WAC gets no respect, but if they win their bowl game and LSU wins theirs... 2 loss team over undefeated BCS bowl winner? Brennan has put up gaudy numbers, but not sure how good of a pro he'll be. I hope he will, but It'll be interesting to see where he gets drafted. Whatever happened to Timmy Chang, that QB that broke all kinds of records at Hawaii recently before Colt?

Timmy Chang sucked. He may have got those most career yards record but he also got the most career interceptions record. Anyways I want McFadden to win it... I gotta admit though taht Hawaii's oppenents were easy this season and they have a 80% chance of getting killed.

I am rooting for Mcfadden and Colt too, Tebow is a talent, but he's got 3 lineman that might go in the first 2 rounds. As a former runningback hehe, I can attest: that is somewhat(sarcastic understatement) important heh. Against easier opponents it's not as evident, but both Mcfadden and Colt did more with less talent around them. As far as why I really hate Skip Bayless.. the post is coming soon. I really think the recent history of WAC quarterbacks will hurt Colt, #1 overall pick Alex Smith is falling flat on is face this year. Frisco might outright release him next year some rumors say. I didn't want to discount your native pride opinion , but I just cant' see it happening so I had to say it and why. (i'm not a fan of east coast bias- as a constant witness to robbery by referees sportswide against smaller market teams)

I was rooting all this time for Colt but for some reason, tonight me and my dad were talking about the Heisman and all of a sudden I went against Colt. First I presented the system QB approach. Saying look at Alex Smith. And then i said look at Colt Brennan. Sure he might not be a system QB or maybe he is and people say he isn't is because of the nice throws he makes. But I said he only has time to make those nice throws becuase of the oppnenets they play. In the SCC, (or w/e its called) The other team's d line is more tough and gets more pressure and the Defensive backs are more faster than the ones in the WAC. But w/e we went on and on and we just agreed that we'll just have to wait and see till Tebow and Brennan are in the pros......But Brennan should won some of those QB awards but he didn't even get invited this year.. BUT we agreed that the Heisman is giving to the best colligate player in the U.S........and that is Darren McFadden. Not Tim Tebow, Darren McFadden. That guy will be an awsome pro. He could be the next steven jackson........I hope the Cowboys draft him. haha GO COWBOYS

Yea, they had tunnelTebowvision, the dude will probably be a tight end in the pros if he doesn't learn to throw better. Colt has a better chance to be a proQB, but his draft value is going to be hurt by the WAC's history at QB. Both Alex Smith, Chang, and others.
As far as why I really dislike Skip... Was his total disprespect of the Seahawks during their SuperBowl bid. He gave them no shot beforehand berating and degrading them illogically, then he gave them no credit for their tough performance during the game. While he admitted there might have been some iffy calls, he wouldn't give the Hawks any credit whatsoever. Dude has blinders on towards what he wants to be the truth, and only will admit to being wrong when it's starkly obvious. Like TO and Moss tearing it up this year making him look stupid.

Skip is an idiot. Nuff Said. But he really really really hates the cowboys. My dad sorta likes him though cause he doesn't know about him and the first time he saw him, he said Brennan should win the Heisman. Then i told him dont listen cause he hates the Cowboys but my dad hates the Cowboys too so lol..

Who cares, Skip Bayless is dumb and an idiot. He thinks he knows everything about sports even though he hasn't even played one. He's a jackAfrican American period. End of story.
OT: haha it changed from N*gg*r to African

I shoulda remembered the time for this too but there was history made the other day.
Friday, January 18, 2008 ESPN 1st and 10, at around 10:43 HI time or idk what time it was.
Skip Bayless admits that he is an idiot. They were talking about AFC/NFC champion picks and they went back to last year when the other guy called both of them right and Skip called it wrong. Then they made their picks for this year and the other guy said Giants and Skip said something I forget lol. But anyways he said "I'm the idiot here"
and the other two people couldn't stop laughing.

Skip Bayless vs. Stephen A. Smith on First Take is always a quality watch.
