On the day Barac Obama chose Joe Biden as his running mate, Ridar (a.k.a. pusher) and myself were discussing his choice. Rider pointed out the comically inconvenient catchphrase that their campaign should use: Obama Bin Biden '08. Well now the rusty cogs have milled and clanged around in the vacuous minds of the misanthropic fear mongers that use the moniker Fox News corporation. And they too have raised the following question. I have a picture yay! CONICIDENCE??!?!!?!? Discuss. EDIT: Is it just me or is one of that guy's eyes looking directly at the camera while the other is looking somewhere off-screen? That is like freakin' exorcist type cinema going on there.

Well this is just another example of complete and utter nonsense. And perhaps a surplus of free time.

Pretty dumb umbrage to take up with someone(their name), but a lot of people can't get past his name. People that are not even typically racist have become pretty damned leery of people of the Islamic faith. I know two long time democrats, seriously wagering on voting republican for the first time. I hope they have a chance to watch the debates, cause Obama's going to take McCain's lunch money, but in a nice way.

Palin was right when she said that Obama was "self-indulgent". I truly believe he just loves the sound of his own voice, like most politicians. Both sides of the race can talk all they want, but (insert: cliche) "actions speak louder than words." It is easy to talk about "change" and reformation, but we can't truly be sure they mean what they say until it's time for them to back up their statements.
And am I naive to think that there aren't really people that stupid out there to reject Obama just because his name is a close resemblance to our favorite Saudi?

the people who wouldnt vote for obama because his name sounds like osama would have decided way earlier to not vote for him because he's not a WASP
and what do you expect, coming from Faux News, those little bitches who wish they were the republican national committee
On the same note of that kind of crap, i recently saw a misprint on some news (associated press maybe?) where they had Joe Leiberman listed as the 2000 "vice presidential prick" i thought that was a nice freudian slip

I don't really have a personal standpoint on the election, partly because I'm Canadian and partly because both politicians interest me very little, but I think it's really immature that Fox News would do something like that. That's a classic third grade-level insult right there. And in other news, (former) Canadian prime minister Stephen Harper tries even more to be like G W Bush and calls an election for October 14. Discuss.

no one cares about canadian politics..... seriously, where in the constitution does it grant states the power to engage in diplomatic relations..... someone should put the 51st state back in line.... jk, but yeah the parliamentary system < presidential system

Huh? Are you pesky Canadians still here? And isn't Harper still the PM? Well, he called an election for October 14th, and I don't support him so I'm hoping he doesn't get re-elected. It's obvious no one in parliament supports his party's ideas if there's a political deadlock. Either way, he hasn't been able to do anything to change anything really, except put us in the war against Afghanistan.
