NO GOOGLING
1.) You have 9 pigs, and 4 large, 4 medium, and 4 small fences. How can you create 3 square pens so that each pig has its own space? (Using a picture to answer would be the best way)
2.) If you had a million dollars and gave away one quarter, and another quarter, and then another quarter, how much would you have left?
3.) What is filled every morning and emptied every night, except once a year when it is filled at night and emptied in the morning?
4.) What two words have thousands of letters in them?
5.) Dead on the field lie ten soldiers in white, felled by three eyes, black as night. What's going on here?
6.) Which side of a cat has more hair?
7.) A butcher had a number of legs of lamb to chop up. He chopped each leg into 11 pieces. He chopped at the rate of 45 strokes per minute. How many legs would he chop in 22 mins?
8.) If a man's mother-in-law can marry his son, and a woman's father can marry her sister-in-law, can a man marry his widow's sister?
9.) Sally, Lisa and Bernadette are triplets. But Sally and Lisa share something that Bernadette does not. What is it?
10.) What can you put in a barrel of water to make it lighter?

One million dollars minus 75 cents.

4, 6, 7, 8, and 10 are correct. Tech's answer for 2 is a little too literal. that leaves
5.) Dead on the field lie ten soldiers in white, felled by three eyes, black as night. What's going on here?
9.) Sally, Lisa and Bernadette are triplets. But Sally and Lisa share something that Bernadette does not. What is it?

3.) What is filled every morning and emptied every night, except once a year when it is filled at night and emptied in the morning?
the stomach of a once-a-year binge drinker
5.) Dead on the field lie ten soldiers in white, felled by three eyes, black as night. What's going on here?
well i didn't really understand the felled part, but i'm assuming it's chess pieces? (because thats the only black and white soldiers i can think of atm)
9.) Sally, Lisa and Bernadette are triplets. But Sally and Lisa share something that Bernadette does not. What is it?
having names that are less than six letters with the letters "L and S"

I'll take it for 9, the only answer you needed was the letter L or the letter S. The other 2 are wrong.

Too literal? ppft! That's the point with riddles usually, they are presented to be taken non-literally when the answer really is literal.
Now if you said "You give away 1/4 of the MONEY and then another 1/4 of what remains and then another 1/4 of what remains what is left.
But for your version 1 million - 1/4 of 1 million = 750k. 750k- 1/4 of 750k=562 500 562 500 - 1/4 of 562 500 = $ 421 875
9) To expand on DPG's answer it's having a "Two syllable name" as opposed to a 3-sylable name.

Mmmk then, all that's left is
1.) You have 9 pigs, and 4 large, 4 medium, and 4 small fences. How can you create 3 square pens so that each pig has its own space? (Using a picture to answer would be the best way)
3.) What is filled every morning and emptied every night, except once a year when it is filled at night and emptied in the morning?
5.) Dead on the field lie ten soldiers in white, felled by three eyes, black as night. What's going on here?

I'll take it for 9, the only answer you needed was the letter L or the letter S. The other 2 are wrong. WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY'RE WRONG. my binge drinker answer was obviously correct. and for 5 i'm going to say they're chess pieces (again.)

Your reference to chess is wrong.
There are only 8 white pawns, NOT 10.

That doesn't make sense. Alcohol wouldn't FILL your stomach, even if you're binge drinking. If you had that much alcohol in your stomach, your body would reject it as quickly as possible and it wouldn't last until morning. It would be "filled at night and emptied later that night."
Chess pieces are wrong (again).
The only hint I'll give you on #5, dp, is that I got it after moments of looking at it.

3.) What is filled every morning and emptied every night, except once a year when it is filled at night and emptied in the morning? Socks, ie. stockings, ie. Christmas riddle.

5.) ok I didn't get it until dx gave the clue. The only thing I know about Dx is that he likes to bowl, so you all can guess what the 10 white soldiers are and what the 3 black eyes are.

for #1 The closest I've gotten is 7 spaces for the pigs using 3 square pens intersecting with one another.
