1) A big fat Indian and a small thin Indian were sitting outside a teepee, each smoking a pipe. The little Indian was the son of the big Indian, but the big Indian was not the little Indian's father. How come?
2) Two boxers are in a boxing match (regular boxing, not kick boxing). The fight is scheduled for 12 rounds but ends after 6 rounds, after one boxer knocks out the other boxer. Yet no man throws a punch. How is this possible?
3) I am eight letters long - "12345678" My 1234 is an atmospheric condition. My 34567 supports a plant. My 4567 is to appropriate. My 45 is a friendly thank-you. My 678 is a name.
4) With thieves I consort, With the vilest, in short, I'm quite at my ease in depravity; Yet all divines use me, And savants can't lose me, For I am the center of gravity. Who or what am I???
5) Two mothers and two daughters were fishing. They managed to catch one big fish, one small fish, and one fat fish. Since only three fish were caught, how is it possible that they each took home a fish?

Yes, big time. Okay, 5 more: 1) If you were to put a coin into an empty bottle and then insert a cork into the neck, how could you remove the coin without taking out the cork or breaking the bottle? 2) A snail is at the bottom of a well 30 feet deep. It crawls up 3 feet each day, but at night, it slips down 2 feet. How long does it take for the snail to crawl out the well? 3) Four men and four women are shipwrecked on a desert island. Eventually each one falls in love with one another, and is himself loved by one person. John falls in love with a girl who is in love with Jim. Arthur loves a girl who loves the man who loves Ellen. Mary is loved by the man who is loved by the girl who is loved by Bruce. Gloria hates Bruce and is hated by the man whom Hazel loves. Enigma: Who loves Arthur? 4) A boy leaves his house one summer day, and began to run into the woods to his grandmother's house which is on the other side of the woods. It should also be known that the boy reached his grandmother's house. How far did the boy run into the woods? 5) What is the easiest way to throw a ball, have it stop, and completely reverse direction after traveling a short distance? (Without bouncing it off the ground)

Don't have time to figure all these ones out at the moment so I'll the ones I figured out now and finish the others after.
1) If you were to put a coin into an empty bottle and then insert a cork into the neck, how could you remove the coin without taking out the cork or breaking the bottle?
Push the cork into the bottle and shake the coin out.
2) A snail is at the bottom of a well 30 feet deep. It crawls up 3 feet each day, but at night, it slips down 2 feet. How long does it take for the snail to crawl out the well?
28 Days. On Day 28 the Snail would be at 27ft and would move up to the 30ft mark and not drop down again.
Working on it
4) A boy leaves his house one summer day, and began to run into the woods to his grandmother's house which is on the other side of the woods. It should also be known that the boy reached his grandmother's house. How far did the boy run into the woods?
Working on it
5) What is the easiest way to throw a ball, have it stop, and completely reverse direction after traveling a short distance? (Without bouncing it off the ground)
Throw it directly up(vertically) and gravity will make the ball stop and reverse direction

Okay, Techno is correct on all the ones he answered. Questions 3 and 4 are still open for answers. (NO GOOGLING!)

4) A boy leaves his house one summer day, and began to run into the woods to his grandmother's house which is on the other side of the woods. It should also be known that the boy reached his grandmother's house. How far did the boy run into the woods? Halfway, after which he was then running out of the woods.

For 4) I'm guessing the woods is actually "The Woods family's house". So the distance the boy ran is the length of the Wood's house. ie he entered the Wood's house and ran through it to the other side(if there are doors on each side of the house)
Edit: Just read Sifu's answer and it seems better.
for 3) I'm guessing that It's Jim that loves Arthur. I can't fully prove it, only circumstancial evidence. All the other 3 men are stated to love women. Jim is not stated as loving either a woman or a man.
I just can't prove it, yet.

Sif already got it correct in that once halfway in the woods, you are now running "out".
You are wrong on #3, so I will keep that one alive and add 4 more new ones:
1) Four men and four women are shipwrecked on a desert island.
2) Two men were being tried for murder. The jury found one man guilty and the other innocent. The judge turned to the guilty man and said, "Even though your guilt has been established, the law compels me to set you free." How could such a bizarre judgement occur?
3) An electric train is traveling southwest at 95 miles per hour, and the wind is blowing north east at 95 miles per hour. In which direction does the smoke blow?
4) There is a man that lives on the top floor of a very tall building. Everyday he gets the elevator down to the ground floor to leave the building to go to work. Upon returning from work though, he can only travel half way up in the lift and has to walk the rest of the way. WHY?
5) A man is wearing black. Black shoes, socks, trousers, jumper, gloves, and balaclava. He is walking down a black street with all the street lamps off. A black car is coming toward him with its lights off too, but somehow manages to stop in time. How did the driver see the man?

Still dunno yet
2) Two men were being tried for murder. The jury found one man guilty and the other innocent. The judge turned to the guilty man and said, "Even though your guilt has been established, the law compels me to set you free." How could such a bizarre judgement occur?
Dunno yet
3) An electric train is traveling southwest at 95 miles per hour, and the wind is blowing north east at 95 miles per hour. In which direction does the smoke blow?
Since it's electric it would not have smoke
4) There is a man that lives on the top floor of a very tall building. Everyday he gets the elevator down to the ground floor to leave the building to go to work. Upon returning from work though, he can only travel half way up in the lift and has to walk the rest of the way. WHY?
The man is too short(midget) to reach higher than the halfway point buttons for floors. And since the ground floor is the lowest(vertically) button on the elevator he can easily reach that one.
5) A man is wearing black. Black shoes, socks, trousers, jumper, gloves, and balaclava. He is walking down a black street with all the street lamps off. A black car is coming toward him with its lights off too, but somehow manages to stop in time. How did the driver see the man?
It's daytime

For #2
The men were twins and there was no way to tell exactly which one was the murderer?
That's the only thing I can think of.

and for #1
You have person M1 > W1 > M2 > W2 > M3 > W3 > M4 > W4
M1 = John M2 = Jim
John > W1 > Jim > M2 > W2 > M3 > W3 > M4 > W4
Arthur > Woman > Man > Ellen Bruce > Woman > Man > Mary
Therefore the only two ways you could have this is
1.) John > Mary > Jim > Woman > Arthur > Woman > Bruce > Ellen > John...etc or 1.) John > Ellen > Jim > Woman > Bruce > Woman > Arthur > Mary > John...etc
If we choose number 1, then Gloria would have to go in the W2 slot, putting Hazel in W3. Everything works out, Gloria doesn't love Bruce, and the man who Hazel loves (Bruce) doesn't love Gloria.
If we chose number 2, Hazel would go in W2 and Gloria would go in W3. That doesn't work though, because even though Gloria doesn't love Bruce, the man Hazel would love (Bruce) is in love with Gloria. Therefore we must pick number one.
The correct order is
John loves Mary Mary loves Jim Jim loves Gloria Gloria loves Arthur Arthur loves Hazel Bruce loves Ellen Ellen loves John.
So Gloria loves Arthur.

Okay, on #2 you are very close but not exactly there. #1 is correct!
Here are five more with #2 still unsolved.
1) Two men were being tried for murder. The jury found one man guilty and the other innocent. The judge turned to the guilty man and said, "Even though your guilt has been established, the law compels me to set you free." How could such a bizarre judgement occur?
2) A man went to a party and drank some of the punch, then left early. Everyone else at the party who drank the punch subsequently died of poisoning. Why did the man not die? (And the poison was not put in after he left)
3) A woman had two sons who were born on the same hour of the same day of the same year but they were not twins. How could this be so?
4) A man died and went to Heaven. There were thousands of other people there. They were all naked and all looked as they died at the age of 21. He looked around to see if there was anyone he recognized. He saw a couple and he knew immediately that they were Adam and Eve. How did he know?
5) You throw away the outside and cook the inside. Then you eat the outside and throw away the inside. What did you eat?
